Foxconn to Build $260 Million Smart Entertainment Manufacturing Plant in Quang Ninh

Foxconn is set to build a smart entertainment product manufacturing plant in Quang Ninh, Vietnam, with an investment of $263.7 million.

The plant, located in the Song Khoai Industrial Park, will cover an area of 21.5 hectares and is expected to employ around 1,200 workers. The facility will have a design capacity of 4.18 million products per year, including smart entertainment devices and various components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The primary product to be manufactured is the Nintendo Switch gaming console. The project will go through several phases, including investment preparation, construction, equipment installation, and testing, with full operations expected to commence in January 2027.
