Kessler-Ellis Products (KEP), founded in 1961 by Corson Ellis Jr., is a distinguished designer, manufacturer, and service provider specializing in Industrial, Process, Automation, and Control products. Originating as a machine shop, KEP initially focused on electromechanical counting devices before expanding into flow measurement and PLC HMI interface products in the 1980s. Their product portfolio includes flow instrumentation, HMI touch panels, LCD displays, counters, timers, rate meters, PLC operator interfaces, and SCADA software.
Over the decades, KEP has diversified its offerings, with notable successes including the launch of sister companies KEPtel and KEPWare, which achieved significant market impact in telecommunications and OPC server software, respectively. Their marine products division, KEP Marine, provided rugged, sunlight-readable displays before being acquired by Sparton Corporation in 2015.
