Greenwich Instruments

Incorporated in 1979, Greenwich Instruments Industries began by producing laboratory test equipment and quickly made a significant mark with the development of the first non-volatile memory, known as "instant rom." This innovation, which provided 4k of memory that plugged into the ROM slot of the Commodore PET, transformed the computer into a more functional tool, moving away from reliance on cassette tape data storage.

Over the years, Greenwich Instruments has expanded its product portfolio, developing solutions for both their own brand and OEM markets. Their expertise has led them to undertake a variety of special projects for esteemed clients, including the Ministry of Defence, Rolls Royce, British Aero Space in cooperation with NASA, and virtually all rail companies in the United Kingdom.

The company's diverse range of products includes machinery control systems and baby respiration monitors, demonstrating their capability to innovate across different industries. With a legacy of over four decades, Greenwich Instruments continues to deliver advanced technological solutions, cementing its reputation as a leader in the field of electronic instrumentation and control systems.
