Frolyt
Frolyt, founded in 1992 as "FROLYT Kondensatoren und Bauelemente GmbH," has a rich history rooted in the transformation and reorientation of the "VEB Kondensatorenwerk Freiberg" between 1990 and 1992. During this period, the company streamlined its product range, sold shares, and ventured into new business fields. The essential company parts were acquired from Treuhandanstalt through a management buy-out, focusing on three main areas: aluminum-electrolytic capacitors, special machines, and the assembly of power supply equipment for mobile and landlines.
Frolyt's legacy includes producing a wide range of capacitors, from radial and axial aluminum-electrolytic capacitors to high-capacitive aluminum-electrolytic and tantalum capacitors. Today, Frolyt stands as a symbol of German engineering excellence, offering capacitors for standard applications and custom requirements.
With a strong emphasis on quality and innovation, Frolyt continues to serve diverse industries with its reliable capacitors and mechanical engineering solutions. Their commitment to meeting customer-specific needs and maintaining high standards has solidified their reputation in the global market.
