Alliance Plastics
Alliance Plastics, now operating as Essentra Components, is a premier manufacturer of protection and finishing components, serving a diverse range of industries with innovative solutions. Established in 1968, Alliance Plastics began its journey by producing stamping dies, trim dies, and die-castings, later expanding into injection molding in the early sixties to meet the growing demand for medical parts.
Located in an 80,000 square foot facility on Station Road, Alliance Plastics operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant equipped with injection molding, die cutting, tool repair, and storage capabilities. Additionally, the company boasts an 80,000 square foot warehousing facility on McClelland Avenue, housing shipping and receiving departments, as well as dip molding operations.
Acquired by UK conglomerate Bunzl in 1987, Alliance Plastics became part of Essentra Components, a global division of Essentra plc. This strategic move allowed Essentra Components to expand its presence across the United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe, and Asia, solidifying its position as a leader in specialty plastic, fiber, foam, and packaging products.
